Fire and Smoke Damper Supervisor (Self-Paced with Proctored Test at JATC) ***Need to currently be a Fire and Smoke Damper Technician to take this course. **************************************

• The Fire and Smoke Damper (FSD) Supervisor course focuses on the skills and tools required to direct and oversee the work performed by one or more ICB certified FSD Technicians.
• An online course is available for FSD Supervisor. The online course contains a study guide, resources including vocabulary and printable study guide, and a Contractor Toolbox with sample reports, method of procedures, and white papers.
• This class will instruct FSD Supervisors on responsibilities in developing procedures needed to perform an inspection of a building’s fire and smoke dampers, as well as explain the responsibilities before, during and after a damper inspection.
• Following this online course and independent study, the student will be ready to take a proctored examination.
